How to Install

Important: Back up your existing save folder before copying. Kenshi saves are not shared with mods — if you play with a heavy mod list, load this save with the same (vanilla) setup it was made on.

Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop.

Press Win + R, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Kenshi\save and press Enter.

Back up any save folders you want to keep.

Copy the downloaded save folder into save\ — each save is its own folder, so your existing saves are untouched.

Launch Kenshi, choose Load and pick the endgame save.

If the save does not appear, check the older location steamapps\common\Kenshi\save\ inside the game folder.

Kenshi stores the world and your squad separately inside each save folder. Always copy the whole folder, not just individual files, or squad members and buildings may be missing.

About Kenshi

Kenshi is a squad-based open-world sandbox RPG from Lo-Fi Games, developed almost single-handedly by Chris Hunt over more than a decade and released in full in 2018. There is no hero and no main quest: you start as a nobody in a harsh post-apocalyptic desert and decide for yourself who to become.
