How to Install

Important: Far Cry Primal saves through Ubisoft Connect, not Steam. Disable Cloud Save Synchronization in Ubisoft Connect settings first, or your old cloud save will overwrite the new one.

1
Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop.
2
In Ubisoft Connect, go to Settings → General and untick Enable cloud save synchronization.
3
Open your save folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[UbisoftID]\2029\
4
Backup the existing files, then paste the extracted files and overwrite when prompted.
5
Launch Far Cry Primal and press Continue.

[UbisoftID] is a long folder name tied to your Ubisoft account, and 2029 is the Steam version's folder. The Ubisoft Connect store version uses 2010 instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Far Cry Primal save file safe to use?
Yes. Far Cry Primal is single-player only, so nothing online is affected.
Where is the Far Cry Primal save file located on PC?
For the Steam version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[UbisoftID]\2029\ — the Ubisoft Connect version uses the 2010 folder instead.
Are all beasts tamed?
Yes. Every tameable beast is unlocked in the Beast Master menu, including the legendary Bloodfang Sabretooth, Great Shadow Bear and the other rare hunts.
Is the Wenja village fully upgraded?
Yes. Every specialist hut — Sayla, Wogah, Jayma, Karoosh, Tensay, Urki and Dah — is upgraded, which unlocks all their skills and crafting options.
Does this include Legend of the Mammoth or Survival Mode?
No. Legend of the Mammoth is a separate DLC, and Survival Mode starts a new game by design. This save covers the full main game.
Will this save work with Far Cry 3, 4 or 5?
No. Each Far Cry game uses its own save format. We have separate save files for Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5.
Why did my old progress come back?
Ubisoft Connect cloud sync probably restored the old save. Turn off cloud save synchronization, copy the files again and relaunch.
About Far Cry Primal

Far Cry Primal is the 2016 open-world action game from Ubisoft Montreal, set in 10,000 BCE in the valley of Oros. You play as Takkar, a hunter of the Wenja tribe who must rebuild his scattered people while two other tribes — the cannibal Udam and the fire-worshipping Izila — fight to wipe them out.

Guns are replaced with spears, clubs, bows and slings. Takkar's biggest weapon is his bond with animals: he can tame wolves, jaguars, bears and sabretooth tigers to fight at his side, and use an owl to scout and mark enemies from the sky.

Recruiting Wenja specialists and upgrading their huts unlocks new skills and crafting. This save gives you the finished story, every beast, a fully grown village and all of Oros cleared, ready for free roam.
