How to Install

Important: Back up your existing SaveData folder before replacing anything. Arkham Asylum keeps all three story slots in one place, so overwritten files cannot be recovered. Disable Steam Cloud for the game first so it doesn't sync your old save back.

Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop.

In Steam, right-click Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY → Properties and disable Steam Cloud for the game.

Open your save folder: C:\Users\[Name]\Documents\Square Enix\Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY\SaveData\

Backup the existing files in SaveData by copying them elsewhere.

Copy the downloaded save files into SaveData, overwriting the existing ones.

Launch Batman: Arkham Asylum and choose Load Game to continue in free roam.

Older non-GOTY copies use Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\SaveData\ instead — check which folder exists on your PC. If neither exists, start a new game, wait for the first autosave, quit, then repeat the steps.

About Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY

Batman: Arkham Asylum is Rocksteady Studios' 2009 action-adventure that redefined superhero games. When the Joker stages a takeover of Arkham Asylum, Batman is trapped inside the island fortress with Gotham's most dangerous inmates, from Harley Quinn and Killer Croc to Scarecrow and Poison Ivy.

The game introduced the Freeflow combat system, tense Predator rooms where Batman stalks armed thugs from the shadows, and a densely interconnected Metroidvania-style map filled with gadgets, secrets and Riddler puzzles. The Game of the Year Edition adds extra challenge maps.

Full completion means beating the story and solving all 240 Riddler challenges hidden around the island. This save delivers that state instantly, with every upgrade, bio and challenge map unlocked.
