In Steam, right-click Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered → Properties → General and disable Steam Cloud.

Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered\<user-id>\ and back up the existing SLOT folders.

Copy the downloaded SLOT folder into that directory and confirm overwrite.

The <user-id> folder is a long number tied to your Steam account. If there are several, use the one with the most recent modified date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered save file safe to use?

Yes. The game is purely single-player with no anti-cheat, so replacing a save file carries no ban risk.

Where is the Spider-Man Remastered save file located on PC?

Saves are stored in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered\<user-id>\, one SLOT folder per save slot.

Does it include The City That Never Sleeps DLC?

The save has all three DLC chapters (The Heist, Turf Wars, Silver Lining) completed. The DLC is bundled with the Remastered edition, so no extra purchase is needed.

Can I start New Game+ from this save?

Yes. With the story finished, New Game+ is unlocked from the main menu and carries over all suits, gadgets and skills.

Will this work with my PS4 save?

This is a PC save. PS4 saves can be converted by the community, but this download is built for the Steam PC version only.

Why does the game still load my old progress?

Steam Cloud is restoring your previous files. Disable Steam Cloud before copying the save, then launch the game again.

Do all achievements unlock automatically?

No. Steam achievements trigger when the action happens in-game, so completed objectives in the save will not unlock them retroactively.

About Spider-Man Remastered

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is the PC version of Insomniac Games' acclaimed 2018 open-world superhero game, ported by Nixxes Software in 2022. You play as a 23-year-old Peter Parker, eight years into his career as Spider-Man, swinging across a detailed recreation of Manhattan.

The story pits Peter against Mister Negative and his Inner Demons before escalating into a full Sinister Six breakout, while side content fills every district with crimes, collectibles, research stations and Taskmaster challenges. Web-swinging, acrobatic combat and an extensive suit collection make it one of the best superhero games ever made.

Collecting every token for every suit and maxing every challenge takes a long time. This save drops you into a finished New York with the full wardrobe and every gadget ready to go.
