Is the True Ending achieved?

Yes. The True Ending is achieved by answering Louis' final question correctly during the last confrontation. This unlocks New Game+ and Regicide difficulty. The three bad endings do not unlock NG+ or Regicide.

What is Regicide difficulty and why does it require 2 playthroughs?

Regicide is the hardest difficulty in the game, available only in New Game+ after achieving the True Ending. Once selected, difficulty cannot be lowered. It features significantly tougher enemies with amplified weakness damage. The Closing the Book achievement also requires defeating the Redscale Dragon superboss, which only spawns in NG+.

Are all Archetypes mastered?

How to Install

Important: Disable Steam Cloud for Metaphor: ReFantazio before installing to prevent it from overwriting the new save. Back up your existing save folder before proceeding. The save files use a numbered format (save0001.sav, save0007.sav etc.).

In Steam, right-click Metaphor: ReFantazio → Properties → General → disable Steam Cloud.

Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop. You will get several .sav files.

Navigate to your save folder using Windows Run (Win + R): %APPDATA%\Sega\METAPHOR\Steam\[your-steam-id]\

Backup your existing save folder by copying it to your desktop.
