How to Install

Important: Dragon's Dogma 2 has only one save slot per Steam account. Installing this save will completely overwrite your existing progress. Always backup your current win64_save folder first. Also disable Steam Cloud before installing to prevent it from overwriting the new save on launch.

1
In Steam, right-click Dragon's Dogma 2 → Properties → General → disable Steam Cloud.
2
Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop. You will get a win64_save folder containing the Normal Save and Inn Save files.
3
Navigate to your save folder: [Steam folder]\userdata\[your-steam-id]\2054970\remote\
4
Backup your existing win64_save folder by copying it to your desktop before proceeding.
5
Replace the existing win64_save folder inside remote\ with the extracted one from the ZIP.
6
Launch Dragon's Dogma 2 and select Continue — the Arisen loads post-True Ending with all content complete and NG+ available. Re-enable Steam Cloud after your first in-game save at an inn.

Two save files explained: The win64_save folder contains both your Normal Save (continuous autosave, updated every few minutes — indicated by the orange circle on screen) and your Inn Save (only updates when you rest at an inn or your house). The Inn Save in this file is positioned at the entrance to the Unmoored World, giving you a clean pre-endgame restore point if you want to experience that section yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Dragon's Dogma 2 save file safe to use?
Yes. Dragon's Dogma 2 is a fully single-player game with no competitive anti-cheat. The game has an online Pawn sharing system but it uses no server-side validation that would flag local save modifications. Using this save carries zero ban risk.
Where is the Dragon's Dogma 2 save file location on PC?
Saves are stored inside the Steam userdata folder at [Steam]\userdata\[your-steam-id]\2054970\remote\win64_save\. The Steam App ID for Dragon's Dogma 2 is 2054970. Your Steam ID is the numeric folder inside userdata\. The default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[ID]\2054970\remote\win64_save\.
Does Dragon's Dogma 2 only have one save slot?
Yes — officially, Dragon's Dogma 2 supports only one save slot per Steam account, containing two files: the Normal Save (continuous autosave) and the Inn Save (manual, only updates when you rest at an inn). The game warns you about this design. If you want to maintain multiple characters or progression states, you need to manually back up and swap the entire win64_save folder.
What is the True Ending and how is it achieved?
The True Ending requires using the Empowered Godsbane Blade on yourself during the final dragon battle to plunge into the Unmoored World — a decaying, time-limited version of the map where the red clouds expand and erode the world as you play. You must locate and defeat all the remaining dragons across the deteriorating landscape before time runs out. Successfully clearing the Unmoored World triggers the game's true conclusion and unlocks the Closure achievement.
Are all 10 Sphinx Riddles solved?
Yes. All 10 riddles from both Sphinx locations — the Mountain Shrine and the Frontier Shrine — are solved, including the notoriously tricky Riddle of Reunion (which requires you to return to the exact spot where you found your very first Seeker Token) and the Riddle of Recollection. Getting all riddles correct unlocks the Full Marks achievement and rewards the most valuable loot from the Sphinx.
Are all 12 Maister Teachings acquired?
Yes. All 12 Maister Teachings across all 10 vocations are acquired — including the ones tied to missable timed side quests, such as the teachings locked behind Sigurd's questline (which requires keeping him alive through a drake fight) and the Sorcerer's teaching which shares a key item with another NPC's quest. These are among the easiest achievements to accidentally miss on a blind playthrough.
About Dragon's Dogma 2

Dragon's Dogma 2 is an action RPG developed and published by Capcom, released on March 22, 2024 — 12 years after the original Dragon's Dogma. Set in a vast open world encompassing the kingdoms of Vermund and Battahl plus the Volcanic Island, players control the Arisen — a person whose heart has been stolen by a Dragon — and their customizable Pawn companions as they quest to reclaim their heart and uncover the truth behind the world's mysterious cycle.

The game features 10 vocations (character classes) ranging from standard archetypes like Fighter and Mage to the unique Mystic Spearhand, Trickster and Warfarer — a hybrid vocation that can use any weapon. Each vocation has unique skills, augments and a Maister Teaching that grants the most powerful technique available. The open world is designed around emergent gameplay: quests can expire in real time, NPCs can die permanently, and the game actively discourages save scumming with its single-slot autosave system.

Achieving 100% completion requires careful planning across a single playthrough — completing all time-sensitive side quests before triggering story progression locks, solving all 10 Sphinx Riddles without a wrong answer (they cannot be retried), acquiring all 12 Maister Teachings from their specific NPC questlines, and reaching the True Ending through the Unmoored World's time-pressure gauntlet. A full completion run typically requires 60–100 hours, often spanning into New Game+ to clean up any missed content.
