How to Install

Important: Raft uses Steam Cloud by default. Disable it before replacing your save, and back up your existing world folder first — it can't be recovered once overwritten.

1
Close Steam and Raft completely.
2
In Steam, right-click Raft → Properties → General → disable Steam Cloud.
3
Navigate to %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\Savegames\.
4
Backup your existing world folder by copying it to your desktop.
5
Download and extract the .zip file, then copy the world folder into Savegames, replacing the existing one if reusing the same slot.
6
Launch Raft and load the included world from the main menu.
7
Your raft loads in fully expanded with the story complete and every blueprint already unlocked.

Story islands explained: Raft's story unfolds across four major landmark islands — Vasagatan, Balboa Island, Caravan Town, and the endgame Utopia — each introducing new mechanics, threats, and blueprints. This save has all four fully completed, meaning every story-gated blueprint and research item is already available.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Raft save file safe to use?
Yes. Raft is a co-op PvE survival game with no competitive PvP mode. A save only changes your own world/raft progression and carries no risk to your Steam account.
Where is the Raft save file located on PC?
At C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\Savegames\, inside a folder for your world. Steam App ID 648800.
Is the full story completed?
Yes, all four major story islands — Vasagatan, Balboa Island, Caravan Town, and Utopia — are cleared, along with their associated research and blueprints.
How big is the included raft?
The raft is massively expanded with multiple floors, full farming plots, animal pens, and every furniture/utility blueprint placed or available to place.
Will this affect other players?
No, as long as you use it on your own hosted world. Progress is local to the save file, and joining someone else's world doesn't transfer anything from this save.
Do I need to disable Steam Cloud first?
Yes. Raft syncs world saves through Steam Cloud by default, so disable it before replacing files or your changes may be overwritten.
About Raft

Raft is a co-op survival game developed by Redbeet Interactive (published by Axolot Games), released in full in June 2022 after three years in Early Access. Stranded on a small raft in the middle of the ocean, players must scavenge floating debris with a hook, expand their raft into a livable base, and fend off the ever-present threat of sharks circling below.

As the raft grows, story content unfolds across landmark islands discovered while sailing — Vasagatan, Balboa Island, Caravan Town, and the endgame Utopia — each introducing new biomes, characters, and blueprint-granting research. Farming, animal husbandry, and increasingly elaborate raft architecture round out the core loop between story beats.

Redbeet has continued supporting Raft with post-launch updates, and the game's approachable, non-punishing survival loop (compared to grittier survival titles) has made it a popular co-op pick for player groups new to the genre.
