How to Install

Important: Back up your existing SaveData folder first. Steam Cloud also syncs Outlast 2 saves, so disable it for the game temporarily or your old progress may be restored.

Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop.

Open your save folder: C:\Users\[Name]\Documents\My Games\Outlast2\OLGame\SaveData\

Backup the existing files in that folder by copying them elsewhere.

Copy the downloaded save files into the folder, overwriting the existing ones.

Launch Outlast 2 and choose Continue or start a new run on Insane.

If the save does not appear, check the Steam Cloud copy at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[SteamID]\414700\remote\ and replace the files there as well, with Steam closed.

About Outlast 2

Outlast 2 is the 2017 first-person survival horror game from Red Barrels. Investigative journalist Blake Langermann and his wife Lynn are flying over the Arizona desert to look into a murder when their helicopter crashes near Temple Gate, a village ruled by the apocalyptic cult of Sullivan Knoth.

Like the original Outlast, Blake cannot fight back. He can only run, hide and film with his camcorder, whose night vision drains batteries that have to be found along the way. Recordings and Documents piece together the cult's story and Blake's own haunted memories of his school days.

Finding every Document and filming every Recording takes careful exploration of dangerous areas. This save gives you the finished story and full collection right away, ready for a run on Insane.
