How to Install

Important: Back up your existing profile folder before replacing anything. Mafia: Definitive Edition stores all chapters and collectible progress in a single profile, so an overwritten profile cannot be recovered.

Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop.

Open your save folder: C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\2K Games\Mafia Definitive Edition\Data\profiles\

Open the folder named with your profile ID, then the savegames folder inside it.

Backup the existing files in savegames by copying them elsewhere.

Copy the downloaded save files into savegames, overwriting the existing ones.

Launch Mafia: Definitive Edition and choose Continue, or open Chapter Select / Free Ride from the main menu.

If the save doesn't appear, launch the game once and start a new story to create your profile folder, quit, then repeat the steps. The ZIP includes a post-story save and a Free Ride save with every vehicle already in the garage.

About Mafia: Definitive Edition

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a ground-up remake of the 2002 classic, developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K in 2020. Set in the fictional 1930s city of Lost Heaven, it follows cab driver Tommy Angelo as he is drawn into the Salieri crime family during Prohibition.

The remake rebuilds the story with new cutscenes, expanded characters and a fully re-recorded script, while keeping the original's structure of tightly paced story chapters. Classic cars, period-accurate weapons and a detailed recreation of an American city in the Great Depression make it one of the most atmospheric crime stories in gaming.

Full completion means finishing all 20 chapters and tracking down every collectible hidden across Lost Heaven and its countryside. This save delivers that state instantly, with every car unlocked for Free Ride.
