How to Install

Important: Hades stores its save as a single Profile1.sav file (Profile2.sav if you've used a second save slot). Disable Steam Cloud before installing and back up your existing save first — the game will silently overwrite whichever profile slot you replace.

1
In Steam, right-click Hades → Properties → General → disable Steam Cloud.
2
Navigate to your Hades save folder: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\Saved Games\Hades\ (paste into Windows Explorer, or press Win + R and type %userprofile%\Saved Games\Hades)
3
Backup your existing Profile1.sav by copying it to your desktop.
4
Download and extract the .zip file. It contains a Profile1.sav file.
5
Copy the extracted Profile1.sav into your Saved Games\Hades folder, replacing the old one (or use Profile2.sav if you want to keep your original save in slot 1).
6
Launch Hades. Select the matching profile slot from the title screen. Your run will start from the House of Hades with everything unlocked.

Save slot naming: Hades uses simple numbered profile slots (Profile1.sav, Profile2.sav) rather than a Steam ID prefix, so any save file works in any slot as long as it's named correctly for the slot you want it in. The save contains all meta-progression: unlocked weapons and aspects, Mirror of Night talent points spent, Keepsake unlocks, companion relationship ranks, Codex entries, Pact of Punishment settings, and story flags including the true ending trigger.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Hades save file safe to use?
Yes. Hades is entirely singleplayer with no online components, leaderboards tied to save data, or anti-cheat systems. Swapping in a save file only affects your local game and poses zero risk to your Steam account.
Where is the Hades save file location on PC?
Saves are at C:\\Users\\[Username]\\Saved Games\\Hades\\ as Profile1.sav (or Profile2.sav for a second slot) — note this is under Saved Games directly in your user folder, not under AppData. Steam App ID 1145360.
Are all Infernal Arms and Aspects unlocked?
Yes. All 6 weapons (Stygian Blade, Heart-Seeking Bow, Shield of Chaos, Eternal Spear, Twin Fists, Adamant Rail) are unlocked along with every weapon Aspect for each, including the strongest late-unlock Aspects like Aspect of Zagreus and Aspect of Arthur, all upgraded with Titan Blood.
Is the Mirror of Night fully upgraded?
Yes, both the light path and dark path talents are maxed out, including the Mirror Talents that require completing certain story milestones to unlock in the first place (like Death Defiance ranks and Chaos Shield).
Has the true ending been unlocked?
Yes. The save reflects a state where the True Ending trigger (10 successful escapes with the required story interactions completed) has already fired, so the ending cutscene and epilogue content are available if you continue playing toward another Surface visit.
What is Heat / Pact of Punishment in this save?
Pact of Punishment is Hades' difficulty-modifier system where you 'give up' rewards in exchange for tougher enemies, unlocked incrementally by successfully escaping. This save has meaningful Heat conditions already unlocked and a logged high-Heat clear, so you have access to harder difficulty modifiers without needing to grind up to them.
Will this save work with DLC content (Steel Hitchhiker's version / updates)?
Yes, the save is built on the current live version of Hades including all free content updates. If you're on an older un-updated build, let Steam update the game fully before loading the save to avoid any version mismatch warnings.
Can I still earn new achievements after loading this save?
Yes — though most achievements are already unlocked in this save, any remaining ones (typically tied to specific in-run choices or challenge runs) can still be earned by continuing to play normally from this fully-unlocked starting point.
About Hades

Hades is a roguelike action dungeon-crawler developed by Supergiant Games, released in 2020 after an extended Early Access period, and widely regarded as one of the best roguelikes ever made. Players control Zagreus, son of Hades, as he repeatedly attempts to escape the Underworld and reach Mount Olympus, battling through procedurally arranged rooms across four distinct biomes (Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium, and the Temple of Styx) using one of six Infernal Arms, each dramatically reshaped by equippable weapon Aspects.

Progression is split between run-based power (Boons granted by Olympian gods that combine into build-defining synergies) and permanent meta-progression: Titan Blood upgrades weapon Aspects, Darkness upgrades the Mirror of Night's passive talents, Nectar and Ambrosia build relationships with the game's large cast of Greek-mythology characters, and Keys unlock new weapons and House upgrades. The narrative unfolds gradually across repeated deaths (a core mechanic, not a failure state), with named NPCs remembering every previous run and reacting to accumulated story flags.

Full completion means unlocking every weapon and Aspect, maxing the Mirror of Night on both talent paths, filling out every Codex entry and companion relationship, triggering the True Ending after ten successful escapes, and unlocking increasingly difficult Pact of Punishment Heat conditions for players chasing harder challenge runs. With its four-person writing team, hand-drawn art, and fully voiced cast (including narration that reacts to almost any player action), Hades routinely takes 60-100+ hours to fully complete, with committed players logging hundreds more chasing extreme-Heat clears.
