Download and extract the .zip file, then copy save.json into the folder, replacing the existing one.
6
Launch Dead Cells through Steam.
7
Your run loads in with every blueprint unlocked and Boss Cell 5 available from the start screen.

Boss Cells explained: Boss Cells are Dead Cells' escalating difficulty modifiers, unlocked by defeating the final boss — each cell added increases enemy density and toughness. 5 Boss Cells (5BC) is the game's hardest standard tier. This save has all main bosses cleared at 5BC, alongside Custom Mode for further modifier tuning.

About Dead Cells

Dead Cells is a roguelite action-platformer developed by Motion Twin (later taken over by spin-off studio Evil Empire), released in full in August 2018 after a lengthy and highly-praised Early Access period. Players control an amorphous, memory-less prisoner exploring a procedurally-arranged, interconnected castle, fighting through permadeath runs that gradually unlock permanent blueprints and upgrades.

Combat blends Metroidvania-style movement with roguelite build variety, offering hundreds of weapon and skill combinations that can be discovered and permanently unlocked via blueprints found on each run, encouraging experimentation across many playthroughs. The escalating Boss Cell difficulty system lets players ramp up challenge indefinitely after finishing the main story once.

Evil Empire continued substantial free and paid content support for years after the base game's release, including major DLC packs (Fatal Falls, The Bad Seed, Return to Castlevania) and Update 17's Qud content, making Dead Cells one of the most thoroughly-supported roguelites on the market.
