How to Install

Important: Terraria saves are split into two separate foldersPlayers\ (character files, .plr) and Worlds\ (world files, .wld). Both must be installed. Disable Steam Cloud before installing, and back up your existing Players and Worlds folders first.

1
In Steam, right-click Terraria → Properties → General → disable Steam Cloud.
2
Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop. You will find a Players\ folder and a Worlds\ folder inside.
3
Navigate to your Terraria save folder using Windows Run (Win + R): %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Terraria\
4
Backup your existing Players\ and Worlds\ folders by copying them to your desktop.
5
Copy the extracted .plr file(s) into your Players\ folder and the .wld file(s) into your Worlds\ folder. Do not replace your entire Players or Worlds folder — just add the new files alongside your existing ones.
6
Launch Terraria, select the downloaded character from the character list, then select the matching world from the world list and click Play. All 115 achievements will sync to Steam on load.

Two separate folders: Terraria is unique in that it stores your character and your world completely independently. The Players\ folder holds your character's inventory, health, equipment and achievement flags in a .plr file. The Worlds\ folder holds the actual map terrain, boss kill flags, NPC positions and progression state in a .wld file. You need the matching pair from this download for everything to work correctly. Each folder also contains .bak backup files automatically created by the game.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Terraria save file safe to use?
Yes. Terraria is a singleplayer and local co-op game with no competitive online modes. There is no anti-cheat system. Using a downloaded save carries zero risk to your account.
Where is the Terraria save file location on PC?
Saves are at %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Terraria\, with two subfolders: Players\ containing .plr character files and Worlds\ containing .wld world files. Steam App ID 105600. If Steam Cloud is enabled, a backup copy is also stored in Steam\userdata\[id]\105600\remote\.
Why does 100% need multiple worlds?
Two specific bosses are biome-exclusive: Eater of Worlds only appears in Corruption worlds, and Brain of Cthulhu only in Crimson worlds. Since a generated world gets one or the other (50/50 chance), you need at least two different worlds to kill both and unlock the Slayer of Worlds achievement. Additionally, certain achievements require specific special seeds — world generation codes that create unique world variants (such as the Zenith seed, "for the worthy", "not the bees", "celebrationmk10") with exclusive content and bosses.
What are the hardest achievements in Terraria?
The biggest time sinks are: 200 Angler quests (requires turning in 200 unique fishing quests to the Angler NPC — heavily RNG-dependent), crafting the Zenith (requires collecting components across the entire game's progression including Moon Lord drops), reaching wave 15 of both the Pumpkin Moon and Frost Moon events (require heavy DPS), and completing the full Bestiary (added in 1.4.5, requires encountering every enemy, critter and NPC). The special seeds also require separate world setups.
Are any achievements missable?
No achievements are permanently missable in Terraria. Every boss, event and collectible can be encountered, summoned or triggered at any point given the right world state and items. Even the Eater of Worlds / Brain of Cthulhu divide is solved by simply creating a second world with the other biome. All 115 achievements can be earned on a single character across multiple worlds.
Does this work with the latest patch (1.4.5)?
Yes. This save is fully up to date with Terraria version 1.4.5 — the "Together Forever" update — which added 22 new achievements including the Bestiary completion achievement, several new special seed achievements and new boss/event content. All 115 current achievements are unlocked. Steam App ID 105600.
About Terraria

Terraria is a 2D action-adventure sandbox game developed by Re-Logic, originally released in May 2011 and continuously updated for over a decade. Players explore, mine, build and fight in procedurally generated worlds spanning multiple biomes — from surface forests and deserts to underground caverns, the glowing Mushroom biome and the hellish Underworld. The game features a deep progression system split between Pre-Hardmode and Hardmode, with dozens of bosses, hundreds of weapons and items, and near-infinite building possibilities.

The current version 1.4.5 — known as the "Together Forever" update — is considered the game's final major content update, bringing the total Steam achievement count to 115. Bosses include classic encounters like the Eye of Cthulhu, Skeletron and the Wall of Flesh (the gateway to Hardmode), through to the Mechanical Bosses trio, Plantera, Golem, Empress of Light, the Lunatic Cultist and the final boss Moon Lord. The Zenith — a sword that launches a spinning vortex of blades drawn from weapons across the entire game's history — is the ultimate crafting goal and requires components including the Terra Blade, Meowmere, Star Wrath and Moon Lord drops.

Achieving 100% completion across all 115 achievements requires careful planning around biome-exclusive bosses (needing both a Corruption and a Crimson world), several special seed worlds for unique content, grinding 200 Angler fishing quests, reaching wave 15 of both the Pumpkin Moon and Frost Moon events, completing the full Bestiary, and surviving every random event. No achievement is permanently missable — everything can be completed given enough time and the right world setup. Total completion typically takes 80–150 hours depending on experience.
