Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Atomic Heart save file safe to use?
Yes. Atomic Heart is a single-player game with no anti-cheat, so replacing your save carries no ban risk.
Where is the Atomic Heart save file located on PC?
Saves are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\AtomicHeart\Saved\SaveGames\.
Does it include the Annihilation Instinct or other DLC?
No. The save covers the base game. Story DLC like Annihilation Instinct and Trapped in Limbo requires owning the DLC and is played from its own menu entry.

You can load the final pre-ending save to keep exploring the open world with all weapons and upgrades unlocked.
Will the Testing Grounds rewards stay unlocked?
Yes. All blueprints and upgrades from the Testing Grounds are stored in the save and available at any NORA station.
Why does the game load my old progress?
Steam Cloud is restoring your previous files. Disable Steam Cloud, copy the save again and relaunch.
Do achievements unlock automatically?
No. Achievements are tracked by Steam when the action happens, so they will not unlock retroactively from the save.
About Atomic Heart

Atomic Heart is a first-person shooter from Mundfish, released in 2023 and set in an alternate-history Soviet Union of 1955, where robotics and a neural network called Kollektiv have transformed society. You play as Major P-3, sent to Facility 3826 after the robots suddenly turn on their creators.

The game blends BioShock-style combat with an open world, mixing heavy melee weapons, firearms and the Polymer Glove abilities. Hidden underground Testing Grounds hold puzzle chambers and the best weapon blueprints, while the flirtatious NORA terminals handle crafting and upgrades.

Gathering every blueprint and maxing every weapon means a lot of looting and resource farming. This save hands you the full arsenal and a completed story.
