Important: Back up your existing SaveGames folder before replacing anything. Lords of the Fallen stores your character, world state and NG+ cycle in the same files, so overwritten progress cannot be recovered.
C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\LOTF2\Saved\SaveGames\ (press Win + R and type %LOCALAPPDATA%\LOTF2\Saved\SaveGames).SaveGames by copying it to another location.SaveGames (into your numbered Steam ID subfolder if one exists), overwriting the existing files. If the folder doesn't exist yet, start a new character, rest at the first Vestige so the game writes a save, quit, then repeat the steps. Turn off Steam Cloud for the game temporarily so it doesn't overwrite the new save with your old cloud copy.
C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\LOTF2\Saved\SaveGames\Lords of the Fallen is Hexworks' 2023 soulslike reboot of the 2014 original, published by CI Games and built in Unreal Engine 5. Set a thousand years after the reign of the demon god Adyr, it puts you in the shoes of a Dark Crusader trying to cleanse the Beacons of Mournstead before Adyr can return.
Its signature mechanic is the Umbral Lamp, which lets you peer into and physically cross over into Umbral, the realm of the dead, layered on top of the living world of Axiom. Many paths, secrets and bosses only exist on one side, and dying in Axiom drops you into Umbral for a last chance at survival.
Reaching 100% means beating every boss in both realms, completing NPC questlines for all three endings, and collecting every weapon, armor set and spell. This save skips hundreds of hours of grinding and drops you straight into a fully kitted-out character.
