About Ghostrunner

Ghostrunner is a fast-paced first-person action game developed by One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks, released in October 2020. Set in a towering cyberpunk megastructure called Dharma Tower, players control a cybernetically-enhanced warrior who dies in a single hit but can also kill enemies just as instantly, encouraging a rhythm of precise parkour, wall-running, and split-second sword kills.

The game's core loop revolves around fast trial-and-error combat sequences that reward memorization and pattern recognition, similar to a rhythm game, layered onto fluid parkour traversal. Kinesis and other unlockable abilities gradually expand the player's toolkit as the story climbs toward the top of the tower to confront the tyrannical Keymaster.
