How to Install

Important: Assassin's Creed Valhalla saves are managed by Ubisoft Connect, even when you own the game on Steam. Disable Ubisoft Connect cloud sync and back up your existing save folder first — the Steam copy uses the folder 7013, the Ubisoft Connect copy uses 13504.

Download and extract the .zip file to your desktop.

Open Ubisoft Connect → Settings → General and disable cloud save synchronization.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\ and open the folder with your Ubisoft user ID.

Open 7013 if you own the game on Steam, or 13504 if you own it directly on Ubisoft Connect, and back up its contents.

Copy the downloaded save files into that folder and confirm overwrite.

Launch Assassin's Creed Valhalla and choose Continue or Load Game.

If you are unsure which folder your copy uses, look for the numbered folder that already contains files after you have played the game once.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Assassin's Creed Valhalla save file safe to use?

Yes. The save only contains local single-player progress. Valhalla has no anti-cheat for the campaign, so there is no ban risk.

Where is the Assassin's Creed Valhalla save file located on PC?

Saves are stored by Ubisoft Connect in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<ubisoft-user-id>\ — subfolder 7013 for the Steam version and 13504 for the Ubisoft Connect version.

Is Eivor male or female in this save?

The save uses the default Animus-choice setting, which switches between male and female Eivor during the story. You can change it at any time in the Animus menu.

Does it include Wrath of the Druids, Siege of Paris and Dawn of Ragnarök?

The base game is fully completed. The expansions are separate story lines started from Ravensthorpe — you can jump straight into them with this character, but they are not marked as completed.

Does the save work with the Steam version?

Yes. Valhalla on Steam still runs through Ubisoft Connect; just copy the files into the folder 7013 instead of 13504.

Why does Ubisoft Connect overwrite the save?

Ubisoft Connect syncs Assassin's Creed Valhalla saves to its own cloud. Open Ubisoft Connect → Settings → General and untick Enable cloud save synchronization for supported games before copying the files, then launch the game once with sync still disabled.

About Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an open-world action RPG from Ubisoft Montreal, released in 2020 and brought to Steam in 2022. You play as Eivor, a Viking raider who leads the Raven Clan from war-torn Norway to the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of 9th-century England in search of a new home.

The game combines brutal melee combat, longship raids on monasteries and a settlement-building system at Ravensthorpe with a sprawling political story of alliances across Wessex, Mercia, Northumbria and East Anglia, plus mythological detours to Asgard and Jotunheim.

Pledging every region, hunting the entire Order and collecting every Wealth, Mystery and Artifact is one of the longest completions in the series. This save gives you a fully finished saga and a maxed Eivor.
